For a decade, she led the Cișmigiu Hotel, a heritage building in the center of the capital, erected in 1912 under the name Palace Hotel and reopened in 2012, when Georgeta took over the management as the general manager.

Georgeta actively participated in the opening of three major hotels, including the first Sofitel hotel in Romania. In London and Paris, she held various positions within the Accor group structure, and in Bucharest, she also worked as an event manager at the World Trade Center. In 2009, she responded to the economic crisis with a new market concept, launching as Resident Manager the first apart-hotel in Bucharest - Starlight Suiten Hotel. Today, she is an active participant in hospitality institutions such as International Councillor for Europe at Skål International, member of the Skål Training and Education Committee, F.I.H.R., as well as a mentor within the Professional Women Network.
