After the success of the school’s opening in autumn 2020, despite the unfavourable pandemic context, the first series of students attended and promoted the courses in the Foundation module, at the end of last year.
Thus, during a period of just three months of intensive training, students developed the basic skills needed for any specialist in hotel management or culinary art, being prepared to develop and advance their careers in hospitality.
They will continue their courses at the Academy with the Intermediate Module, and, starting in March 2021, will begin six-month internships in the hotels and countries of their choice.
In this respect, the winsedswiss educational group has entered partnerships with economic operators in the hospitality industry, at national and international level. With the support of local authorities, the students of the Hotel Administration programme practiced the notions acquired in the Hotel Cetate in Oradea, and some of the practical exams were also held here.
The ohma concept is based on the idea that you can't be a good manager in the hospitality industry if you haven't practised yourself what you're going to ask your employees and your collaborators to accomplish.

So far, courses at the Academy have been conducted in the classrooms around 90% of the time, on a daily basis, in compliance with all sanitary measures, both legal and additional, such as: mobile furniture, organising courses for up to ten people simultaneously, rapid periodic testing of teachers and students.
Depending on the chosen vocational programme, students of the Ohma Academy can obtain basic qualifications or specialisation in hotels and restaurants, according to the Swiss reference model and based on the philosophy from Lausanne, in one of the four professional paths: Culinary (Culinary Professional Diploma); Services (Food and Beverage Professional Diploma); Accommodation and Reception (Rooms Professional Diploma); Hotel Administration (Hotel Administration Professional Diploma).

Unfortunately, this cruel pandemic destroyed every bit of enthusiasm for an industry that was not very highly-regarded by the general public even before. The passion of service is not for everyone. This industry which, globally speaking, employs one out of every ten working people, has been deeply wounded, therefore we should seize the moment and start asking ourselves the big questions.
